Beautiful work! I love everything about this: the very muted background, the subdued colors in the bar which echo the brighter tones in the jewel, the gentle gold in the swirls...it all goes so well together. This is really nice. Just one thing: what is that little
" V " hanging down from the gem''s setting?
Two more fine additions showing good variety and workmanship. Both are very interesting but i feel there is more to look at here. Then again, liquid light is a more unique piece of work - i just can't seem to make up my mind.
Actually i do have one critism - well its not really a critism. But alot of your fractal / gem images are so sharp they do feel very computer generated - id be interested to see an image of yours that uses texture over the top - ie a cracked or worn down gem - just to add realism. Only if its fesible.
Thanks for posting. Sam.
The 'gem' in the middle reminds me of the 'squishy' things of the 70's that you pushed on and they changed colors. They made early mouse pads that way.
