Oh dear me. This does not look friendly. I have never heard of this insect before. Does it sting? This must be native to belgium. If so, you can keep it there. Wonderful detail. Great placement.

Did you misspell the title? I think its supposed to be "a bug's LIFE" Your picture is also very interesting.

Looks like a mosquito on steroids...lol Another wonderful macro image Kristof. Well presented and looks great on the desktop.Maybe you could write a short narrative about these cool insects. Is that a weapon on his tail? Excellent job....Bill

His wings look like stained glass, the rest of him looks like a pretty nasty character. Great image.

The detail is very sharp and clear and the bug's wings do remind me of stained glass. The framing looks gorgeous also! Wonderful job!

If it flies and has a deadly sting that is one scary bug. Beautiful shot, nice colors and I like the framing!! Cheers.........................LPF

"Love starts at home: family first then the indivdual then your town. its easy to love people far away, but it is not always easy those right next to us. I do not agree with the big way of doing things. Love needs to start with an individual." -Mother Teresa ( But in my opinion whever there is world crisis it is wise to give.)

great shot. A pitty that the lower end of the wings are bit out of focus.
Composition is very nice.
