The only critical thing I can think of is that the sharpest focus is on the petals, not the center. But I'm not sure it would be as interesting of a shot if the focus was on the middle instead of the petals. So, it's perfect, in my opinion, sorry. :-)

Over manipulated? Not in my book. I really like the suspended in space look of this bloom. And that dive bomber zooming in? You couldn't capture this again if your life depended on it. How in the world did you do it? It's fantastic.. Talk about being in the right place at the right time.... SUPER!

Normally I like bugs well focused but this picture is better suited with the bug in flight. It is a lovely composition. How did you get the shadowing around the edges? That shadowing accentuates the feel of the picture. Very nicely done.

Well, this is just splendid. Amazingly good depth of field for such a tight closeup. Of course wonderful lighting, and the fly was so well trained to hover right there for you. Congratulations on another winner.
