I've always admired insects - they're built tough to survive and have a fascinating mystery about them. With your close-ups, though, they're a bit less mysterious. Great job on all the technical elements, as usual, Kristof.

As usual, a nice macro Kristof. I especially like the colors of this one. Very pretty.

Lovely red dragon fly. I just marvel at their thin bodies and double sets of wings. What remarkable little creatures they are. Thank you.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Best view I have seen lately of the structure of one of these insects. Strangly put together, I'd say. This is a different view from the norm as well. I like it. Puts all his top structure on display. Excellent.

You have a real talent for capturing the difficult! I love this one! The clarity and color are so perfect and the background and composition really compliment the insect.

What a fantastic capture of a male Ruddy Darter [Sympetrum sanguineum]. Not easy to get that red just right. Very, very good.
Cheers,
Steve.
