I've never seen one of these but with this excellent macro, how can one forget. Just a magnificent post in all ways.

Encouragement is the oxygen to the soul.
This has got to be the prettiest fly I've ever seen. And the closet, clearest image of one I've ever seen, too. Not only National Geographic, but any magazine for insect lovers or gardening enthusiats would love these images as well.
