inspiration for the picture came from here . I love that picture but some things kept annoying me ; i did not like the fact that that not all the pieces showed and i did not like the glistening pieces. Do not give me credit for the idea as it is not mine.

Great photo - neat concept. I think we all feel like we're one against the world sometimes. :)

I love your honesty in showing the background concept...and your interpretation of the idea is much better than the original! The dragonfly in the corner is a nice touch.

I really like this. It's a lot more than just an image of chess pieces. Well done.

I once played chess with my older, very christian, sister and allowed her to take both my bishops before I check mated her and told her "look you can still triumph even without religous counsel"

Nice pic great concept!

Well done! This speaks volumes! I love the real black and white, and the balance, the focus on the little one - and the title is perfect.

Depending on your own unique perspective of the world and the frame of mind a person might be in at the time of viewing this, it could be interpreted in at least two different ways that I can think of, and both are thought provoking. I appreciate you showing us what your inspiration was for the composition, but aren't we all inspired by something we've seen or heard? Nothing springs from nothing :)PJ

I like this softer version much better too. Even though the original idea wasn't yours, you certainly improved upon it. Nicely done Kristof.
