The clarity is unbelievable. The contrasting blurry background really makes these little guys stand out. The detail blows me away. I almost passed over it in the gallery but decided to take a look and was glad I did. Thanks for sharing this with us...
Well now, I'm stuffed with Turkey and fixings and I must say that your shrooms are safe from me right about now. :) You can't argue with that c-index..congrats :)PJ
I've gotten behind in my comments again but I want to take time to acknowledge this fine image and to thank you for bringing it to us. I think this is a very good image and I've enjoyed viewing it. Have a happy holiday season.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

That's just awesome, the shot of these two treausures is very well done. I know there are mushroom abounding here in Oregon, but I don't even know how to try to find them. I love how they look and all you shroom finders are so good about it, so I get the pictures no matter what. Thank you so very much. The colours are perfect here. What I really enjoy are the wonderful grasses and things around the shrooms....Verena
Great job with the background Kristof.. the colors compliment the shrooms nicely.. but you missed some brown grass ends with them scissors buddy..lol.. well done..=D
Way behind on my friends list.. will play catch up and hopefully will get ahead of the game soon.. Thanks for all your comments and support..Happy Holidays everyone..=D
