It is hard to be critical here. It is easy to describe this as a great shot. The light in the shot is atmospheric and the dynamism is wonderful too. If I could make one point that would have had me hailing this as a perfect shot is that I'd like to have seen more of these plovers with their heads up. None the less I like this shot very much.
ahhhhhhhhh...
i spent the better part of an august back in 79', laying on the landing letting those waves wash over me...no boat traffic was going on- texas was in between hurricanes!
i will never forget those 3 weeks!
thank you!
Great and even though I'm late and I've already voted on this one too, it deserves all the praise that can be lavished on it and you... the mood is so definite here....just next time...you'd better be sure and announce that you're about to take the pic and have them all say "cheese" and look straight into the camera....pokes at BorderingOrion a bit...lol ;)PJ
I love Turnstones Kristof and if I could be hyper picky I would have loved to see them doing what the label says - turning stones - but other than that you have captured them in their normal environment coping with a noncholance only shorebirds can manage.
Great capture and scene setting. Hope you didn't get too much salt spray in the camera;o/
Cheers,
Steve.
