You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I think Randy took all the puns, but I'm still struck by this impressive photo. Are you using one of those medical cams where they take pictures of the insides of people? lol...no, really this is an amazingly clear and close macro.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Bumblebees always look great to me and like how they seeming don't care if your around. You can actually get close enough to touch them when they are buzzing those flowers. You got a great shot of this one.
This is probably the most incredible shot of a bee I have ever seen, seriously! I agree with bfrank - I always love to watch bumblebees on my flowers and they really don't seem to pay me any mind.. This picture went into my favorites - what can I say - every single detail is amazing and the swath of lavender color just sets it off beautifully.
