I read a lot of photography magazines and in these i've seen this kind of image attempted many times. I have to say that this is probably the best i've seen. Everything appears perfect. The clarity, colours, composition and lighting all top notch. Fantastic image, into the favs it goes.
I'm interested to know what lens camera combo was this taken with?
Hello again Krisof
Looks like u barely need a comment from me now, but very well done because you,ve captured the peacock perfectly, keeping the bird in complete focus.
Nice 1

What a fantastic capture Kristof. Your peacock is in full display and you have off=centered the body of the bird with the tail feathers just right so that the viewer can't help but be impressed with the tail and then to see the brilliance of the bird..well, this one got a big "wow" from me!! Many thanks for sharing this with me ;=)
I do believe the NBC peacock is now all green with envy. Sorry for the delay in getting here, but I've found I don't have a lot of patience waiting for things to upload .. :( PJ

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Just had this in the VB and was so happy about it. I saw many of those birds in the last weeks, but all "were closed." This is the first "open one." So you deserve the ten!
