You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Very nicely taken, although I think I'd take the bright spot out on the right-hand side as it distracts from the child's appearance. Otherwise, it's really very good!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
A superb prtrait - I love the warm tones and personally I like the bright spot in the background - it seems to emphasize the brightness and clarity of Lisa's eyes and the shine in her hair.
A beautiful child - she would not fit in a pink lily any more :) !
This is one of the best portraits of a child I have ever seen. On e of the UK photo mags that came out recently had a great child portrait in it but this is even better. The bright spot has got to go and can be easily removed. I would normally never use something like this for a desktop, but I will use this one.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Kristof, lovely capture.
One minor thing: maybe remove the little 'error', caused by her pacifier.
@Everyone else: thx for the compliments on my little girl ;-)
This portrait was done with 2 kinds of light ; natural light trough a window and a flash bounced of a white wall ( left side ) and i used a very big aperture ( f 1.4 ) for the soft effect .
