No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Allo Krisof
Well done mate did you plant a stick where the tripod was placed, or is it a seasonal manip ? Either way lovely shots.

So you had it tough hey !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss....Happy new year everybody. :o)

Truly stunning photos, and the choice to pair two that are so different works very well. The top photo feels so invitingly warm and the bottom makes me want to reach for my sweatshirt and a down blanket. Two excellent images!

Got in the VB and had to check it out some more...first off, the title is fantastic!! I really like the whole idea of the image, it really highlights how very different a place can be at a different time of the year. Very cool!!

Can't say which one is more beautiful, just each beautiful in its own way. Wonderful, Kristof!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Hey there KRistof...this is such a brilliant idea. I've always wanted to try it in the area where I live. You have done this just magnificiently....it's a wonderful feeling to look at both of these photos simultaneously. I've saved this for sure.I think I love the snow one best of all!! ...Verena
