Thanks folks; your comments much appreciated.

Incidentally, the structure of the hall is Victorian iron clad with terracotta, and the black statue that looks a bit like Darth Vader is of Richard Owen, the Museum's first Director.

Strange thing - I have been there but I seem to have forgotten the main hall completely - sclerosis or Alzheimer LOL
My visit was long ago and thank you so MUCH for reminding me !!!
Good perspective and the best possible vantage point.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Powerful illusion of depth and spaciousness thanks to the terrific exposure and vantage point. The color pallette is also very pleasing. Impressive shot.

I had a look around your gallery and found this wonderful piece. It is exquisite. The colour the framing and the clarity is wonderful. Straight to my favourites.
