My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . I just saw this one featured on the home page. I know people harp on using the Rule of Thirds religiously but I find there's always some photo that benefit in going against the rules a little. Placing the shore line near the middle works perfectly here, allowing that reflection to do an excellent job of balancing the photo. Add in the top drawer composition and layout and the tack-sharp focus, this one's a real beauty. It grabbed my eye as a thumbnail (and many don't) and really gave me pause when I viewed it full screen. Amazing shot and into my favs file, thanks.
