People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
Lovely quality of silence, sweet curve and nicely contrasting textures within the structure of the curve. You've used the ground to lead into the image really nicely. Maybe you could have straightened the perpendicular lines on that dominant window a bit more but I could as well argue that "non-straightness" is the main point of the whole image. :) Lovely.
There is just something about this image that is quite satisfying - the arched windows, the brick flooring which sweeps around the bend and the sunlight bouncing off the walls and floor. A definate fav, and thank you for sharing! Ann
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I really like this and they sure don't make them like this anymore. Love the curves and the textures. This would be a outstanding entry for the contest
I voted this one for first place in the windows contest. It has so much going for it, easy antique charm, invitingly integrated curves, sweeping flow in floor tiles, two and a half windows that could not be featured more perfectly, comfortable coloring and agreeable textures. That it didn't even place is an utterly inscrutable mystery that I'll have to meditate upon cross-legged on the beach tomorrow.
Any cookies as a prize? LOL
