This picture was taken early last summer at Crater Lake, Oregon. Crater Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes I have seen, crystal clear, with no rivers flowing in or out of it, all rain or snow melt. It's actually a caldera formed from an erupted volcano. Enjoy!

I have always wanted to visit Crater Lake and have been hoping someone would share a picture of it on Caedes. Thank you very much for posting this image. It is just splendid!

Beautiful image. It made me the idea to leverage some shots of the Castelgandolfo lake not far from here and summer residence of the Pope.
