I thought this group of Lupins had such beautiful color. They do look as if they are standing proud for someone to take a shot and of course as always I was happy to oblige them. Comments appreciated as always.

Beautiful. You ought to try capturing these in golden evening light, which would accentuate their color and contrast.

Is that what these are? I tried to photograph a stand of these in my city square but wasn't happy with the results. Love your commentary. It is elegant. So is the capture.

I believe you made an excellent decision in taking the shot with somewhat subdued light rather than direct sunlight, which I think could have washed-out some of the beautiful colors and would have certainly taken away the softness of the scene. Good job.
