4 original images were combined here to create this image.
--------------------------------------------------------------
- A photo of the Earth (set to about 35% transparency so you can see a little of the texture of the original eye)
- A photo of leaves (top layer set to 38% transparency)
- A photo of a bottom of a face (blurred out, texture added, and then darkened)
- A photo of my right eye (Mirrored and then both tilted slightly) Two layers of these, one for the top and then one at a lower level to give some texture to the earth photos)
All of these were combined and then a soft spot light was added just above the top picture line to limit the light to the top region of the face.
Tracie, this image is excellent, the way you handle the skin color of the different images to equalize them is great, at first sight i thought it is a single photograph. Very well done! :)
You've done a nice work here. I like that you portrayed her as soft and not harsh. Well done and also thanks very much for describing what you put into it. ;)
wow, thank you for the detailed description.. this is something new, i haven't seen something like this before.. and i like it a lot :) congratulations on the brilliant idea!
i like all parts of it, but the earth in the eyes is simply stunning, a great effect.. although, maybe it would be even better if the other hemisphere would be visible on the other eye ;) nevertheless, great idea and details. nice blending and effects, too :)
thank you for sharing this one with us, highest marks from me :) enjoy your day!

I absolutely love the idea of this image. I would have liked to see more 'foliage' on her face, but I especially like what you did with her eyes. Very nice.
at first glance at the thumbnail i thought wow what beautiful eyes! lol and they turned out to be little earths, coolio! love the softness of her, the way mother nature should be. awsome job!
Great composition! Very original and creative.
This could be a picture of the ancient greek godess Gaia.
The earth in the iris is a nice detail.
I like it that you explained how you did this. Always helpful for the rest of us.
WOW...congratulations to a brilliant piece of artwork....
This image is really outstanding.... and me me very curious...let's see what else I will find in your gallery.
Great composition, you added details on the eyes, the framing, the soft background with very smooth and sweet touch on it , given a special feeling of peace, hope and faith...its a wonderful piece of art!!
I love it!! my new "Where are you AT"
"Love starts at home: family first then the indivdual then your town. its easy to love people far away, but it is not always easy those right next to us. I do not agree with the big way of doing things. Love needs to start with an individual." -Mother Teresa ( But in my opinion whever there is world crisis it is wise to give.)
