Now that's wild Lauren, looks celestial to me. Might have been aztec or mayan and had to do with the sun god. Great job my dear. Gold too..........wow!!!

Today was one of those days in the VB where I was treated to several "good" images ... this was one of those "good" ones. Thought I'd let you know. I loved the colors in this and the sense of celestial spaciousness. Just fascinating to gaze at. Most likely I'll never understand how these fractals are done ... but I like the way you "done did this one" :o) Nice piece of artwork Lauren.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

No idea what the description means, but the result is wonderful. (I thought Apop. did flames but don't recognise anything I've seen in descriptions of people using Apop.!).
This looks to me like clockwork but it does also have a celestial feel to it. It reminds me of Dawkins's book, 'The Blind Watchmaker' or the Newtonian conception of the universe...

Very nice, the flame is great, those little specs bring it to life. The gradient... I'm not sure why, but I don't particularly like it; perhaps it's that that blue and red in the middle wheel conflict with the oranges and browns around them. But the yellows-sunny-browns colors are very nice.
This looks like the universe is exploding into a million spirographs!! What a creation Lauren. The colors are very rich and add such depth to the image. I love the layered look that you have created. Very unique..not that I would expect less from such a talented lady. My apologies for lack of comments recently. I have lost a close friend and a family member. I have been busy with family, out of town house guests as well as grieving. Thanks for putting a smile on my face with this tonight ;=)
Lauren, just to let you know...I'm stealing this and making yet another pocket pc theme for me...so I'll consider permission given and plead deafness if it isn't, but this one is too pretty and detailed to pas up...it's going onto my phone!!!
