interesting narrative.geologically meaning a branch from a dike or drain.i like this one very much and have faved it.it has a delicacy and air of lightness most fractals lack-in my view.i think this is wonderful.reminds me of paul klee(one of my favourite artists therefore high praise indeed.)best wishes, simon :)
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
There is no madness here Lauren just sheer delicacy and another one of your works of art to go into my favorites. love the colors as well as the airy lightness that this image brings to my desktop. thank you for sharing this with me ;=)
"I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled [poets] to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean."
--Socrates (in "Apology")
Oh I like this..this is the first time I've seen it,and it's a very elegant and dramatic creation. I can visualize it as a beautiful silk scarf...very nicely done my friend..Verena
Not a fan of Fractals,But in this case i have made an exception,Absolutely outstanding full of creativity,I can see you put a lot of effort into this..Richie.
Well. I`ve been looking at all of your work and in general i like it a lot. I don`t know much about fractal programs and how much time it takes to create one image but for me it is the result and the atmosphere that counts. Very interestingly done!
Thought I'd let you know ... your "Madness" ... has infected me. Love the coloring here coupled with the fine swirling lines so delicately detailed. Quite hypnotizing!
One of your best to date, in my humble opinion Lauren.
Everything indeed works well together. And the sum of those parts ... is magnificent.
Well done. And thanks for sharing your work and talents. :o)
p.s. Possibly, if I may suggest ... some experimentation with more wide screen presentations? Your image here did prompt that thought, not in a major way ... more so, as a finished and framed piece.
I think ... think you could crop this one as such ... and move the flame itself to capture more of the bottom portion of the darker shape/swirl. And elongating it would enhance the sense of 'movement' in and amongst the other flowing curves. Just some thoughts, not a slight in any way towards your wonderful work here.
Nice colours and sparkles.
