This gave me so much trouble with the gradient ! It really would only accept one & it always chose what I considered the ugliest color imaginable so I decided to just let it work with me instead of against me. Finally I tried for black & white & it morphed into the grayscale. It still managed to beat me. LOL

You're always reaching, coming up with wonderfully different designs. This works as a B&W, but I'm curious as to the original colors. Love the way this tucks in in some of the quadrants, especially upper left.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

As Thoreau always says "Simplicity is Elegance" and you have really shown this. Even tho it is B&W it is just gorgeous, the gray tones are magnificent. And this is a most awesome fractal creation. I personally like this better than any you've done before. This is gorgeous, and right onto my desktop it goes, and into my personal fav. files. You perseveed and YOU won out!...great stuff indeed..This is wicked good!!! Verena

Wow ... I love this. What caught my eye is the silvery tones & the grays remind me of pewter. I'm enjoying the lines in this creation too. Outstanding work Lauren. Faves!

Yeah, what /\ she said! Lol, pewter was actually the first thing that struck my mind...along with the symetry and the flow you've created here. Very nicely done Lauren!

Lauren, you KNOW that I am your biggest fan...but trying to remove any bias...this is one of your best art pieces! I love the design and details and the silver sparkles. Often with Black and Silver fractals, there is a coolness. Here it is opposite, perhaps because of the details. This goes into my Lauren folder and is my new desktop.

I absolutely love it, Lauren! One rarely sees a b&w fractal, and after seeing this, I have to wonder why. As others have mentioned, the gray tone really brings out the silvery threads and puts more emphasis on the wonderful design itself. Really gorgeous it is, and I thank you for still uploading your work here from time to time. I miss seeing your work. Faved+
