This is actually the parent flame of Dharma Gate.

With Dharma Gate I did a few VERY..... minor tweaks obviously, ;-) .... & posted it first.I thought the cobalt blue in Dharma Gate actually seemed to bleed into the background & give it a feeling of texture & softness, almost like velvet.

But the lines in this one seem almost mesmerizing to me, as well as the pale gray-ish/sandy color, it just intensifies the feeling. What do you all think ?

And this will be another one entered in Pat's Stillness Speaks Challenge.

Please Full View !!!! Especially to see the lines. ;) Enjoy !!!

Lol, lol...while I always tell you I like your light colored ones more, in this case I like Gate more. I think the dark hues bring more energy to it, although the lines are lovely and beautiful here. Thanx for sharing them both with us Lauren!

Ohhhhhhhhh this is beautiful as well! Another delicate yet strong creation. I love the way those lines incorporage into the circles. My goodness, you are really good at this. Thanx for a lovely desktop. Again, I would love to see this in reverse. Might surprise you how it looks. Just a thought.Verena

I love both versions, but I chose to comment here as I like this one a tad more. One truly must view in full screen to appreciate the variety of textures your image holds. The very center has the look of deep embossing. Moving slightly outward, the faint texture is really mesmerizing, as is the echoing lines going further out. I also love the sandy color, that delineates so much depth! Beautiful work my friend! :) Saved + faved.
