This oystercatcher appears to be diving forward and down, but he is really fleeing my lens at a rapid rate! (not rapid enough ... heh heh)

The full upward wing shape just before landing and this one where he/she is trying to grab as much air as possible are in my opinion the best in flight shot you can get. You succeded admireably with this capture. Alexis was right, great timing and shot. Well done.
