I don't know that much about snails except that they eat everything in my yard but I don't recall ever seeing a white one.

I have never seen a white one either. He is kinda cute for a snail. Very very good capture.

There is no such thing as a "cute" snail...YIKES...they eat all my lovely things...and NO I've never seen a white one, I guess they have albino snails too eh? but yuck....lol..by the way welcome to caedes...looking forward to "non" slug pictures...from you..hehe...verena

Lots of nice texture here and you picked it up very well. Snails are very cool and the dark shell with the white body is awesome. this is most likely a Common Brown Garden Snail (Helix aspersa). They can come in many color varieties and this is a nice one! Very interesting to watch move and eat if you ignore the slime trail. Great capture!

Pleasant little macro that you have there. Very cool. I don't think I've ever seen a snail photo before. I bet you didn't have to worry about high-speed settings. ha ha.

Hmmmmm.......... I don't know that I can call this fella cute because I am not a snail fan~ I am however, a fan of good photography and this is way cool. I like how you captured the texture of the snails body as well as the shell. There is even texture on the background. very well done. You have great lighting as well.
