This was a sunrise while at Virginia Beach this past week. Please give me suggestions on how to improve this image. I would greatly appreciate it.

it's a nicely composed shot but your colour and contrast is very flat - an auto contrast fix at say 80% strength will fix that right up although it looks more like the setting sun then :-)

Linda, yes, there is something way off in this composition. It is almost washed out. Do you have a photo editor? I ran this through Photo Shop Essentials and did only one adjustment to it. I clicked the automatic "Smart Fix" button and it turned this into a whole new colorful composition. Then, I could see a lot of noise in it (grain) so I ran it through a noise reducer. I use the free download called NeatImage. You ought to see your photo now. If you'll send me your e-mail address, I'll send the new "Dawn's Early Light" to you. It's a beautiful picture you captured. It just needed some help.

a little fuzzy, but overall very good! I like the color.

I feel like I am fading. I've lost the Holy Ground. Maybe there's a chance, that the lost will be found. If you saw a possum on the side of the road, would you too?

I like the colors in this and agree with everyone else. It would look amazing if the colors were richer in this. Very pretty shot though.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares

Great works are performed not by strength but by perserverence.
