Got the opportunity this evening to go visit a farm owned by a friend of my father and was able to take several pictures. I found all kinds of neat things to photograph including this old wagon surrounded by overgrown grass. Thanks to all who view and comment.

I really like the sepia tone effect you used here. I'm usually not a big fan of this type of treatment, but I think that in this case it is warranted to tell the story.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

This is a nice pic. I'm a big fan of B&W pics and other monotone photography as it changes up the atmosphere from the norm. It's very sharp all-around and the main subject is distinguishable from the surroundings. Light browns and beiges such as sand and, dead grass and wheat like in your pic work really good as desktop backgrounds as they contrast the icons and text well. Just curious to know if you used a sepia/gold filter or if you created this effect using photo enhancing software?

Not bad, but I am not a fan of B&W pics, I prefer colors.

I like the softening the sepia tone did to this farm. Farm buildings can be kind of cold...but this made it very nice. What a really like is that you have the grasses in the foreground. That makes it all softer too, and more country feeling. Very nicely done. Verena

The race is not always to the swift--but to those who keep on running.
