You, Sir, have the beginnings of a terrific gallery .. and this image is no slouch either, I'm surprised that it missed garnering some attention .. As we have all grown up with sunsets, it is, perhaps, that we need to be WOW'd by them to respond

So .. next time whistle up a little more Pomp And Circumstance

Welcome to Caedes .. and thank you for sharing this

The scenery here is beautiful, I have no problem admitting that. But I think you could have chosen to capture it in a different manner, because my eye wanders across the picture looking for the main subject. You have two good examples of leading lines:The boats, and the benches. I think if you had taken this closer to the benches - and used the benche(s) as your main subject - then it would be wonderful. I would just try to make sure it's obvious what the subject is. Thank you for submitting, and welcome to Caedes.

I really like the colour of sunset that we see reflecting all the way up the boardwalk - from the person at the end to benches at the other.. Nice sunset. Nice scenery. Nice image. :o)

ahhh, ending another day at the harbor. i really, really like this photo, it has a laid back style to it, and no part sucks the attention away from any other part. ( the longer i look at it the more i like it! ) nice ^_^

Hi Ted,

Interesting look. I see you leaning a bit (dreaded camera tilt) but you did shoot it on a dock in the dark. It has a nice peaceful look, good job.

OMG! This is just lovely. I can just breath in the air and feel in my stomach the excitment of a boat ride. I love it. My husband & I own a boat and enjoy the water so much when we go out. Something about being on the water and the sunsets/sunrises when we would stay the night on the boat, they were breathtaking. This is awesome and into the fav's it goes.
