Aruba - On the north shore, by virtue of the formation of volcanic rock, a natural pool exists at the ocean's edge. It is quite obvious how water continues to feed the pool. Water in the pool is quite placid compared to waves pounding around it. A local suggested staying on the calm side and away from the rough side of the pool. With the wave action around it, I had a hard time figuring out which was not the rough side. (The photo is level, the curve of the pool and angle of the volcanic rocks belie that.) Enjoy!

Whoa, what a huge wave crashing up and over. Now this looks like a great place for a swim. Beautiful colours and lighting, also really like all the textures in the rock

A very unusual pool Thad. Never seen one like that before. Looks a good place to cool down. Very nice capture with clear details and good colours.

"Come on in, the water's fine," never seemed more fitting then in this beautiful shot Thad. You don't have to be in the desert to find an oasis.

Great action scene, but I'd want to be on the rocks watching the others I think. Wonderful, sharp coloring here.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
