One of the older houses on Huguenot Street, the front section of the Freer House, to the left of the door was built in the late 1600s, with the right side added in 1720, and the wood 'lean-to' added in 1776. Not open to the public, the house interior has been 'modernized' over the years, including a very loose (and highly inaccurate) interpretation of colonial decor. There are seven rooms on the first floor, with a basement also. The second level is a loft. A mow door is seen on the south wall which gave access to the loft from the outside. This is a three-exposure HDR image captured in the late afternoon.

Looks like a pretty nice place, Thad. The front entrance platform isn't very attractive, though there could be a reason for it.

That happens Thad, although it's a pity. It's a well known phenomenon in my country as well.

Thanks for a fine addition of the series!

Regards, Cornelius.

The original would have been quite small probably only two rooms - most interesting Thad and the addition is quite historic as well - 1776!
