Wolcott, Connecticut, USA. A sunny autumn day on the golf course, with my point and shoot camera in the bag. This cart path on a steep hill, surrounded by autumn colors aglow in late afternoon sunlight, was one of many pleasant scenes that afternoon. The numerous colors provided contrasts that seem to work in blackened white.

I will just use my imagination to see the Fall colors. This looks fantastic even in black and white.

Interesting concept for this fall photo. Still looks good in B&W.

A very creative presentation in B/W as it forces me to think what the colors really look like, Thad. I hope you remembered the leaf relief rule when playing golf.

This B&W 'painting' would be a very suitable entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge, Thad. Excellent monotone photography my friend!

This surprised me. I could not envision that a fall photo in black and white would be preferable to a color version. However, while the scene was appearing, it proved to be magnificent. As it was rolling down, the textures came through with a different sense of appreciation. This is truly a unique capture, I really like this very much. A favorite. Well done!

I like how this B/W really higlights the sunshine peeking through the trees.

You've captured a lovely scene here, Thad. I love the way the sunlight seems to be seeping through in places and giving shadows in other. A great job on this. Good Luck in the contest.
