San Francisco, California, USA. The legendary bridge, photographed from the Presidio, near Fort Point, seen in the lower left. Locals were elated, as this was the first sunny and warm day after weeks of rain and cool temperatures.

The blue sky larded with some white clouds has emphasized the color of the Golden Gate Bridge in general and the composition of this image in particular, Thad.
Very fine one of this world famous bridge!

The shadow of the bridge on the hillside is an added bonus to the composition. It really is the most amazing structure

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You were lucky to get clear shot with blue skies - usually I've seen fog - excellent capture.

An iconic view that never gets tiresome, Thad.
I really like the vantage point. It looks great against that blue sky. Kudos!

I like the shot. You have a good eye for photo-opts. I see only one thing that would improve it. The shot is tilted, it can be seen on the waterline, the bridge pylons, and even the car park on the left all show signs of the shot not being level. A little bit of clockwise rotation in Photoshop or GIMP and Ta-Da!! I find that The TIC-TAC-TOE grid display option found on some cameras can really help a photographer get a level and better composed shot when having to holding the camera.
