These tall iris open with a slight hint of blue and then turn pure white. I like them especially because they bloom in spring and in fall. Also, they’re really pretty in the garden on a moonlit night.
Irises are such big complicated flowers that they are difficult to photograph well. You have done an excellent job. I especially like that the blue "blush" is still evident in this one. Keep up the good work!
White can be tricky to expose correctly. No problems here though. It looks great especially with the raindrops. Can we expect to see another shot of these taken by moonlight?
