This is one of a series I've taken of the Potomac River in a little town called Colonial Beach, VA. It is perhaps the best place I've ever been on the east coast for sunsets. We stayed at this beach house several times and each was better than the last. Unfortunately, my friend sold her little house and I miss it terribly!

This sunset photo is beautiful. I like everything about it (color, clarity, composition), except the branch at the top of the photo. It blocks part of the horizon and is quite distracting.

A well set image.I feel a bit of editing on the red shimmer of the sun on the water in the background would really enhance this fine image.
