My son showing off his skills. I know there are problems with this image. I've also discovered I may have a problem with my old Minolta - need to get it into the shop. This is the first roll of film I've shot with this camera in probably 5 years. Suggetions and comments always welcome! ~Mary~

To be honest I think it`s a pretty good action shot, It`s a bit grainy but I think thats to bad with the B/W. Maybe even adds something. Thumbs up from me. Need to get him knee pads though!

great action shot. i personally love the black and white. it keeps the focus on him instead of anything in the background. great contrast, and i actually like the graininess. it makes for a nice effect. great work! ~abby

hey, what else can I add but agreement to what has been said... great action shot, perfect for B&W. The graininess may or may not detract, depending.

Mary, I like to separate minor things from major things. So, to me the details of this image (grainy or not) aren't that important. More important to me is the perfect way a proud mother has depicted the skills of her son. Well done! Regards, Cornelius

I haven't used film in so long, I'm embarrassed to say that I don't really know how you'd eliminate the graininess, unless of course it has to do with the way the photo was brought into the digital realm. You're beyond me with this one, but I love the action shot, and it's nice of you to introduce us to your energetic son :)

Hey Mary,
I like it a lot, the action, the hidden ambition, the active power, the nice lines,
As for the the grain, it is not that bad, I think a lot has to do with the A/D conversion (Analog > Digital),
Nicely done,

Thanks for sharing
Kind regards

Nice action shot. I'm sure the bit of grain is from using film. I like it in the b&w. Nice contrasts.

A great action shot here, but how many attempts did it take you to get this shot? Or did you get lucky and get it first go?
