I think his eyes would make a nice Caedes avatar....:)
This little cutie was hanging out on this mossy stone, hoping to pick up some action....{or a happy meal?}
Now this one I could call ... "cute" ... more so than those big guys you've posted that look like they could swallow me whole. :) Great pic ... coloring and clarity ... GREAT! (TYU)
(To clarify, I mean cropping a portion off the top and the right side of the picture, where the focus isn't as sharp, so that more emphasis is placed on its head.)
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

That might be the one thing that creeps me out about living down your way....all the reptiles, just lounging about. What is up with that? Yankees would constantly be jumping up on chairs!! This is a great capture though, Terri!
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
Now this is good. That head of that little gater is absolutely perfectly captured in color, texture and clarity. I would have cropped for more emphasis on the head. I would adjusted the saturation of just the green, down a bit (PS , Inhance, Adjust Color, Adjust Hue/Saturation, Choose Master, choose adjust green. That way, you won't bother the beautiful capture and color of his head. Hope this helps. If you don't have PS, look for a simular procedure in what you do have.

Not only are his eyes in sharp focus from your camera, his eyes seem focused on something too, as you say, maybe a little snack or lunch! Good one, Terri!
This is a fantastic photo Terri. The detail is superb! Next time, I'd like to see a macro of his eye...say from about 2-3" away. While you're at it, why don't you see if you can get a close up of one of his teeth too. Good luck with that one!!!
wow! you get some amazing creatures over there! I would like mad if I saw one of those in my garden (like mad! haha!) - great colouring and I bet those eyes follow you wherever you go! wonderful photo Terri! Patti

Bang bang - what a vivid shot here Terri - great detail on that lil guy.
p.s. Why don't you do something Caedes with the eye ... that would be way cool!

Wow! What an adorably cute little gator! Such wonderful colors he has, and beautiful eyes. Your capture of him is excellent, such clarity. Marvelous work, Terri. :)
Outstanding Terri. I love the detail in this shot - there's lots of interest around the subject in the botanicals and color contrasts. Beautiful sharp image. Well done! Glad you're back. Many smiles and cyberhugs. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Here I come! Watch out for my shining and sharp fangs... I'm so hungry I could eat a horse, lol. My favourite time of the day: breakfast, lunch and dinner time! So many guests, there is going to be a nosh...
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!

Tomorrow might never be | When you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything - Doc Brown | My Gallery Due to a computer crash (physical), I won't be online as often - My apologies about the delay in commenting, but I will get to all of them eventually!

They are cute when they are little, but when they grow up and you are standing about 5 feet away from one in the water - They don't look so cute anymore !! Did you take this one in the wild or was it inside ?? Either way its a great photo. Color is suburb :)
Omg he's soooo cute I want him!!!! (yeah I know I'm crazy, I want a anaconda too lol) 10/10 superb shot goes straight into my favorites so I can admire his cuteness even more!!!!
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority.
