This little cutie was not very shy....and seemed not scared at all of me, unlike some of the other yellow type warblers I snapped a few days ago.

This cutie was simply showing off proudly her newly polished little nails. LOL
This sweet bird looks quite tiny but full of self-importance LOL.

MM: I have nothing but RESPECT for anybody who can get pictures of warblers. I do some bird photography, but warblers are nearly always too quick for me!!! Great shot!

Great capture Terri of one of my favorite warblers. These guys are one of the few warblers easy to identify and usually easy to spot out in the open on tree trunks. They are the only other bird I know of besides a Nuthatch that will walk upside down on a tree trunk. Nice pic ... really enjoyed this.

Now I'm jealous Terri;¬( As well as being a dragonfly fan I'm a bit of a birder too. I missed out on seeing one of these little beauties over this side of the Atlantic a while ago. So for you not only to see this but to get up close AND get a fantastic shot....
Seriously though it's terrific; love the texture in the trunk and it gives a great feel for the diminutive size of this piebald perfection. At least I'll be able to daydream about what might have been as I stare at it on my DT.
Cheers,
Steve.

wonderful capture Terri! - cute little bird! Your bird photos are amazing - I find it very hard to focus on them long enough to get a good image, and the birds are not anywhere near as interesting and colourful as the ones you have in Florida! Patti

This makes an excellent desktop when you add a transparent grey box for Icons on the left. Otherwise the icons get lost in the bark!

Nice photo! Keep up the good work!

I like this one. I like the way the bird's on the extreme right side. It almost looks like the bird's watching the viewer. The wood is so light that it gives a bit too light overallfelling. great one :)

Wonderfully clear shot, and great job on the composition. Having him off center this way allows him to look like he's there in his element, not off posing for the camera. 8•)

I really like how you didnt center the bird but instead centered the tree :) That really makes you look at the whole picture not just the center subject. The warbler is super cute. Id like to have a dozen to look at.
