I’m fascinated by this one Terri, perhaps I’m waiting to see what happens when that log rolls. It’s very well taken, crisp and interesting. I love the intro too and think it would make a great title.
WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY

A very wonderful capture Terri - I like that you have included the water - perfectly balanced picture. The reflections are great and of course Mr Great Blue heron is looking very haughty - a most elegant creature.
Gotta love this ... Beautiful bird capture. Clear and captured in a wonderful surrounding. That log you caught him posing on didn't exactly hurt either. LOL Great job Terri

Wonderful photo of this Great Blue Heron, very sharp image, everything looks great. I have never seen one up close, but I will try harder this year. Thank's Terri.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Thanks all! I really couldn't leave the entire reflection, unless I used a farther away shot / not as close up. I decided to go with more detail...less reflection....:)
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
Another very good Heron shot, the entire photo has a great depth of focus too.
This bird seems a bit thin, or maybe it's just the posture? You seem to have a wide range of wildlife in your neck of the woods, ain't u the lucky one.
