A window from an antebellum house (built in 1833, as the marker shows). This house is essentially unchanged since its construction over 150 years ago, although I expect the original glass in the windows was probably shattered to smithereens during the Battle of Franklin in the 1860's. The glass still appears antique--it has that slightly warped and wavy look which antique glass often displays. This old house is full of these tall, narrow windows. I will display a picture of it next time. Comments welcome.

A nice shot of this window in the antebellum home, Lesley. Lovely reflections also.
