Two of the main landmarks from Jackson, OH. To retrace my steps... Shot 3 images combined HDR/tonemapped. Cloned out some of the more distracting features. Duplicated layer / sepia / small gaussian blur / overlay / fade Add layer / color / noise / sponge / underpaint / multiply / fade Add texture layer / softlight / fade Add gradient layer white to clear / fade Add layer / marqueee to create vignette / paint black / fade Over the top? I tried to keep pulling back a little on each effect so as not to blow the whole thing up. So what do you think?

Great effect,It looks like one of those heavily lacquered pictures on wood.

I had a wood grain texture on it initially and changed it.

I love that it's in color yet you still have that old photo feel to it. Your combination of images is wonderful. It would be interesting to see what you started with. Very nice work.

I think it has the look of a photo in an old magazine, perhaps one about trains :-). I really like it a lot!

An outstanding piece of work! I looked at the original. You were so creative changing it into this.
