This is the field with milkweed where we find the eggs and caterpillars that we raise and release with the kids.

Sure. I like the subject. It seems to me however, that the vegetation in front of the subject is distracting, and there appears to be either some scratches on your lens, or a spider web in front of the camera, or perhaps a screen, fingerprints maybe? Don't know, but there is some definite distortion that is visible. The potential is there...keep it up.

Nice work! As you requested some suggestions. A little cropping on the left side to bring the subject to a more prominent position. Check your color, contrast, exposure, and levels on your computer photo program (program may have some automatic fix settings). Keep up the great work!

Focus seems to be a little soft, the background is a little too bright. It takes away from the main image. Personally, I like the framing and subject. Background is nicely blurred, Good photo. A little post editing could give you a VERY nice shot!
