This is a regional thing. I'm sure I'll get hammered by voters in Michigan and the South. This is a Buckeye tree with it's fruit, about ready to release the Buckeye nut. This poisonous nut is the namesake of the Ohio State University sports teams. This is a view from the Buckeye Grove outside Ohio Stadium with the Block 'O' in the background. I was tempted to put this under places of worship.

Hum, places of worship - I could go for that! I like how you fade the background to bring the leaves and nuts to the well-focused forefront.

I just came across this, and I had to comment, and put one of my Buckeye avies on for ya. Didn't Terrell look good yesterday...four TD passes. I am still hurting from last week at USC, though....but I still love the Buckeyes, and always will. Great shot to stumble across while going through pictures on here. I will put this one in my Caedes folder. Very nice, indeedy.
