You have to view full screen to see more balconies. I took this photo as the Ruby Princess was leaving Grand Turk Island near sunset and thought I would show you how many staterooms on the ship have an ocean view. I can't tell you what it's like since I always had an interior room during my 20 cruises...Hope everyones spring is delightful and all are well....If you never seen a close up side view of a cruise ship I thought you may like to see one..

From this angle, the ship looks about two city blocks long...or is it? Beautiful shot, Diane.

I can't believe my eyes. What a wonderful sight. Great capture, Diane. You've used lines of the ship perfectly. And the lighting with setting sun's beautiful colors are superb. I'd love to have a journey on this beautiful ship. Great work my friend.

I used to save upper deck baseball cards but that has nothing to do with anything Diane.
It looks like the ship has taken a deep breath before all the people start popping out. Great lines and the DOF is really good.

Wonderful perspective, Diane, and a very artful composition. This is a terrific view of a cruise ship. You get a real sense of the size of this ship when looking at this shot. Thanks for sharing this one.

Wow! what a perspective and capture of the ship! Not many passengers about but that is the right time to take a photo. Very nice shot Diane.

Love the perspective in this shot and the feel of size you gave us - never been on a cruise so found this very interesting.

Outstanding composition as usual Diane, your true talent! The exposure is superb, not an easy accomplishment in the evening sun with reflections, a turbulent sky, dark seas and long cast shadows. 20 cruises.......also impressive! You should have more than enough material to build an extensive photo book complete with narratives (another of your talents) on world cruises!

Very Nice. It shows so much depth, the ship so close and so large. The ocean so vastly beautiful. Oh how I would love to see the ocean just once. Great capture.
