I think I like the darker image better, it has a more mysterious and spooky feeling, and the raindrops stand more out. But it's hard to decide, both are excellent pictures!
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundation under them. - Henry David Thoreau
"In my mind's eye, I visualize how a particular... sight and feeling will appear on a print. If it excites me, there is a good chance it will make a good photograph. It is an intuitive sense, an ability that comes from a lot of practice."
Ansel Adams
This is also lovely, Marilyn, but so often we see the flowers in the light...to see them in darkness and under the moonlight makes it a little more unique, so I like the other one a bit more for that reason. :Pat.
...Fantastic... as Russ said, you really do have an awesome knack for making these images come to life... great shot Marilyn, keep up the wonderful work.
"Once you have heard the lark, known the swish of feet through hill-top grass and smelt the earth made ready for the seed, you are never again going to be fully happy about the cities and towns that man carries like a crippling weight upon his back."
- Gwyn Thomas
Both of the images are wonderful......I think I prefer the moonlit one though because I don't see them often enough! ....I have both of them on my hard drive though! Thanks :))
I think this version is marvelous. I love your work. If you grow all of these lovely flowers, I'd sure love to smell your place. I bet it's heavenly. 10/10 favs and well, you guessed it...another wallpaper for me. :)
You have such a wonderful talent Marilyn, this is yet another stunning picture. The blues against the pure white of that magnificent rose is beautiful.
You are a talented and dear friend.
