I spent the day on a friend's beautiful farm, and fell in love with this llama!! This fella had the most inquisitive eyes I have ever seen! A delightful day it was!
What a clear, well focused photo. I can count his whiskers! The color is so good. It looks like he was quite fond of you too, ready to give the camera a big smooch! Haha. Well done, Marilyn!

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
What a beautiful animal and photo! When my twin granddaughters were just starting to talk we would take drives and they would see the Llama farms..and always said " Look Grammie, there's Mamas!!! sooo cute..nice capture...on this photo!
Great shot of a wonderful face enhanced by the background. Such an inquisitive look on his face - one of natures wonderful creatures who knows how to pose for the camera, makes a marvellous desktop, and into my favourites.
Then in their trouble they called to the Lord, and He saved them from their distress. He brought them out of their gloom and darkness and broke their chains in pieces. (Psalm 107:13-14)
Hello Marilyn...Top marks...This is a fabulous shot, and one that most photographers would be proud of....The llama makes a great subject and is clearly relaxed in your shot..This type of photography is more about the rapport between the subject and the snapper than the latest gear, and you clearly have the personal skills to capture a great moment...Well done...All the best...Mick.
