Marilyn - For the New Year, I thought I'd find something different to say about your photo, I looked, and looked, and it looked like a rose and flower to me. Suddenly - Oh my Gosh ! Finally I saw it, I'm thinking "why didnt I see this before?" It seems like the white flower is outreaching its arms to caress the rose in a comforting way. Probably finding comfort in knowing that because they cannot be with others like them, they can bring admiring attention to themselves as the odd couple. Do more please!

Hello dear Marilyn! I don't know how I missed this beauty! The red rose looks like velvet and the white mum is perfect as an evening cape! :) The softness that Brissa added is a lovely touch indeed. It makes the image appear to be floating. My wish for you is that 2006 is better than the past has been. Things are looking up dear friend!
Thanks for visiting ~big ship~. I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw this! I have only seen ships in a distance & this tanker was quite close to us actually. The water must be really deep in the Strait! I was amazed at the foreground, the pilings and the flowers. I thought it added something special to the tanker as well as the beautiful mountains in the background! Drop by anytime. Coffee is on, door is open. :~)

Well, i may have missed this on new years, but this is still very pretty. The dark red right up against the bright white is wonderful! Beautiful!
