This is a former post of mine entitled "Aqamarine", but without the visitor vewing from the bridge above, smiling, and too, the flower boxes have been removed, all making way for our final farewell to Autumn! But don't be sad, because soon we will enter another door, in which we will experience the awesome glitter and sparkle of winter white!! To me that is an exciting season as well, but of course, for very different reasons, right? The camera and you will all go forth to produce those lovely wintry scenes we all enjoy so very much! Please enjoy, Marilyn

I have a friend who lives near Tavistock, we meet quite a lot, he said he would help me with some of my work, oh his name by the way is Mr. David Bailey. ( THE REAL DAVID BAILEY ) HE EVEN HAD A GOLD PLATED CAMERA WITH HIM....WOW.

Alas, poor Autumn..we knew her well! :) Your right Marilyn the change of seasons is an exciting time for us lucky enough to have them! Just so winter behaves & doesn't over stay her welcome now! Your leaving us with a nice memory of her here Marilyn! Great colors & the feel of fall for sure. Nicely done!

Nicely taken, Marilyn, and it is a fitting tribute to a season we love so well. I'm with Kidder on this one..."so long as winter behaves and doesn't overstay her welcome" then I'll greet the new season with some enthusiasm, but we'll all have to wait and see. The colors here are marvelous :)PJ

Very pretty capture Marilyn. The shadows and reflections in the water along with the burst of colour from the trees off to the left make this a work of art. Very Well Done !!

Marilyn, I have to agree with the person before me. This is very beautiful and definetly a keeper. I haven't done my voting today and I hope it comes up in mine too because I also will give it a 10.

If only all farewells were made of this golden bronze that you have managed to capture my friend. I love the sparkle off the water and the bridge and the sense of Autumn approaching that this image brings to mind...soon, we can look forward to Spring! That is terrible of me, but I so dislike winter......excellent capture of one of your favorite places. Thanks for sharing this with me ;=)
