Hi Everyone. Today, I took advantage of a most beautiful sunny day in MI. I took many photos of a lovely, very large lily plant, given to me at Easter! This is one of them. I hope you enjoy. Thank you, Marilyn

Oh my goodness Marilyn she is awesome!! I love the contrast of the petals against the blue of the sky. This is going right into my faves and on my desk top. A wonderful wonderful capture.

Oh Marilyn, this is so gorgeous. You took a most beautiful photo of a totally lovely flower. What a unique colour it has..Is it some sort of lavender? or white? It looks like satin. Hello Marilyn....It is sometimes impossible to believe something can be so beautiful....I have a special interest with Lilies....The lily was my mother's favourite flower and she would tell me that this flower was the solution to simplicity and in many parts of the world lilies are used to bring harmony and joy to the home with their sweet, gentle fragrance that creates a feeling of tranquility...Marilyn,you have truly captured the essence and beauty of the Lily....Well done...Take care...All the best...Mick.

I like the effect of the water droplets on the flower and the flower itself is interesting. I have to say i don't comment on flowers very often most flower shots tend to fill the entire frame and it somehow takes away from the shot. I really do like this one though you captured the colours nicely and there is just enough blue sky to break up the frame.
