A series of dissapearing underground rivers and their openings which form a chain of small mountain lakes on Vancouver Island, BC. Had to leave the person on the rock to show the scale;-)
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar,
I love not man less, but Nature more
--Lord Byron
As was said above everything was said above. Awesome nature, it´s a shame that I will never have the chance to see something like this in real. Keep them comming I say.
Fine vapors escape whatever is doing the living.
The night is cold and delicate and full of angels
Pounding down on the living. The factories are all lit up,
The chime goes unheard.
We are together at last, though far apart.
-from “The Ecclesiast” by John Ashbery
