The unexpected often reveals new ideas and unexplored paths. Therefore, one must learn to “look.” Nothing should restrict one’s manner of expression as long as “it works.” No amount of words can describe a photograph or create one. Frequently, we “find” without seeking, acting upon Pasteur’s expression “Chance favors the prepared mind.” That is why so many great “accidents” seem to happen to better photographers.--Arnold Newman

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar,
I love not man less, but Nature more
--Lord Byron
Such great lighting Darryl..the leaves look as though they are outlined with miniature lights! The sky in the background is so very blue...this photo has amazing color, clarity & detail. Great job. Thank you so much!
So I'm trying to breeze through my two days worth of missed new images and see everything full screen without stopping to comment at the moment, but darn-it man I just can't help it. This is such an amazing capture. Really excellent Darryl. 10 of course~
With this overwhelmingly charming leafy silhouette photo, you could easily induce a fern fetish in us all =) Its cool how the bright sunny spot in the middle is a soft glow instead of a probable glare. Long Live pala.. pa.. *muffles cry of support* It really is a beaut.
