Spot on, my friend. You used the long exposure thing to make a spooky mood here. I like it a lot, and if I ever find a waterfall, I'm going to spend a few hours with it; you can count on that!
Now this one is going on my hard disk for future reference. (So I can scratch my head while I work out how he did it). Well chosen viewpoint and a fabulous presentation Darryl.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
i love the ghostish look you got out of this, i'm always hesitant to go high contrast in all my pics, but it makes some really neat resuls in lots of occasions, great work
I really like your Steady as she Flows image. I am a soft water shooter too so I can appreciate your set-up as well as exposure. I especially enjoy viewing images of water that are not blown out by bad exposures. Yours is perfect! +10

holy mushroom god....that is one outstanding image. How much manipulation did you do to this one - aside from the hue? Or was this just a straight shot? damn...either way - it's amazing work.

This photo deserves a better platform than my desktop to be displayed on. Simply breathtaking. The colours are stunning... the darkness of the rocks is a perfect background for that silken water.. You've given me goosebumps. :o)
